President
Randy Agness is the founder and president of Agness Publishing LLC, a publishing services company for new and emerging authors and illustrators. His creativity and entrepreneurial spirit carry through every endeavor Agness champions. As an Author, Publishing Agent, Engineer and Award-winning Winemaker, Agness’ commitment to outstanding quality remains the foundation of his work.
Agness’ passion for writing is at the heart of his articles about wine, food, travel and sports. As a commercial winemaker and owner of Agness Wine Cellars since 2015, his writing focuses largely on the wine industry. Recently, Randy is collaborating with Gwen Toma in creating and writing a book series focused on regional wines and food pairing, Vine To Table™. The book highlights the heritage, wines and recipes of winemakers of New York’s Finger Lakes region.
Agness collaborated with Gwen Toma in creating and co-authoring their first children’s book, Lake Girl Chronicles™, Every Girl’s Story. Introduced in 2024, the story is told in a little girl’s voice from the pages of her diary about her life and adventures growing up on Lake Ontario in the 60’s and 70’s. The second book in the series, Lake Girl Chronicles™, Making Friends, is scheduled for release Holiday 2024.
As President of Agness Publishing, Randy continues his quest to help fellow authors and illustrators imagine new classics.
Gwen Toma
Creative Director
Gwen Toma is the Creative Director of Agness Publishing LLC and the President of Gwen Toma Home Holiday LLC. Gwen has a passion for creating and telling stories. As an author, editor, illustrator and former broadcast news journalist, she is adept at building and telling a story from manuscript through illustration.
Gwen collaborated with Randy Agness in creating, co-writing, illustrating and editing Lake Girl Chronicles™, Every Girl’s Story. Introduced in 2024, the story is told in a little girl’s voice from the pages of her diary about her life and adventures growing up on Lake Ontario in the 60’s and 70’s. She is the author and illustrator of the second book in the series, Lake Girl Chronicles™, Making Friends, scheduled for release Holiday 2024.

A creative chameleon, she is well known for fine art, product design, writing, marketing and branding from Published Works to lifestyle home décor to fashion. In addition to creating multi-media art and book illustrations, she designs, develops and markets home decor, tabletop gifts, decorative accessories, home textiles and fashion accessories.
